Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) & Innovation Corners

Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology (UCOST), Dehradun, is trying to establish STEM labs in 95 development blocks of the state, in which till now UCOST has done important work to fulfill the objectives of the National Education Policy 2020 by establishing STEM labs in 78 schools in 73 development blocks of the Uttarakhand state. The above STEM labs have been established in every development block of Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Champawat, Chamoli, Bageshwar, Rudraprayag, Almora, Pauri, Nainital and Dehradun districts. Efforts are underway to establish STEM labs in all 95 development blocks with trainers in the remaining 22 development blocks soon. STEM labs will prove to be a milestone in learning subjects like science, technology, engineering & mathematics in a practical way in the state’s remote areas
