Identification of Plastic Waste Dump Sites in Char Dham Yatra Routes & Dehradun City using High-Resolution Satellite imagery

The Uttarakhand Space Applications Centre (USAC), in collaboration with the Uttarakhand Pollution control board (UKPCB), is carrying out the project “Identification of Plastic Waste Dump Sites in Char Dham Yatra Routes and Dehradun City using High-Resolution Satellite Imagery”. This project aims to identify the locations of existing plastic waste dumping sites along the Char Dham Yatra route and in Dehradun by utilizing remote sensing and GIS techniques.
